BANK OF THE WEST EMAIL PHISHING SCAM
If you currently use Bank of the West eTime Banking Online Service be very careful if you receive an email asking you to update your information because your online service is going to expire. The link will take you to a website that asks for your sign in and password. Completing this process will take you to a screen that asks for information including your ATM card number and PIN number.
If you receive an email like this, do not click on the link. If you have any questions, contact Bank of the West directly. If you have already received this email and "signed in" via this link, be sure to log onto your account and immediately change your sign in and password. You may also want to contact Bank of the West and let them know. If you have already given your ATM information, contact your bank immediately and have that card cancelled.
This is a very convincing phishing email. Be very careful!!!

SB521 is going before the govenor for his signature. If you own a single family residence and are anywhere near a transit hub, light rail station, BART station, or Caltrain station, you should be very concerned about this bill passing. The bill will allow the state to designate a single family residence home blighted for the sole reason that it is within a quarter mile of a transit hub. If you are concerned about your property (which you should be) contact the govenor and tell him to veto SB 521.
